I have a concrete lip inside the garage, can I still install?Updated a year ago

The residential seal is designed to be installed tight to the back of the garage door so it can create a watertight seal. If there is a concrete lip behind the door there will not be enough space for it to be installed there. In this situation there are 2 options.

1. Install the seal wall-to-wall on the concrete just after the lip. This will form a significant barrier to the water, but it will not make the garage watertight, or draft proof as there will still be a gap under the door.

2. Install in front of the garage door. The issue with this installation is that any rain which hits the door will become trapped between the door and the seal and will enter when the door opens.
